The early church exploded in growth during the first century. Lives were changed through the Gospel. Christianity went from a small group of a fewdozen followers of a local rabbi to a world-wide movement that 'turned the world upside down.' All of this is narrated in the 'Acts of the Apostles.' Pastor Burdine will uncover some of the simple principles that led to the success and inflence of the early church in his weekend sermons in 2011. Not every Sunday will be a sermon from Acts, but every week will be an emphasis on this year's theme 'The Church in Action.'
