One of your greatest skills is listening.
Listening will bring you closer to other people. In addition, when you listen well, you can discover wonderful opportunities and avoid big trouble.
Jesus talked to His disciples about the importance of listening in Luke 8:1-21. He encourage His followers to be good listeners to His Word. Even today, to be a good follower of Jesus means a commitment to be a good listener to His Word.
This Sunday, September 6, I will begin a new sermon series called COMMITMENT from Luke 8. Jesus encouraged His followers to be good listeners to His Word. This week I will share the message: “Commitment to Listen.”
Most people hear, but few listen. How can we listen to God’s Word better? In this sermon, I will share three ways we can listen:
- Listen to Receive.
- Listen to Share.
- Listen to Obey.
I hope you will join me as we are challenged to make a commitment to listen to God’s Word.
We will continue to have church services in our building at 9:00 am or 10:30 am. For more information about our reconnecting guidelines, visit RECONNECT. You can also watch our pre-recorded service with the same message on Facebook Live or YouTube Live on Sunday at 9:00 am or 10:30 am.
Join me this Sunday.
