What are you hungry for?
It’s been awhile since we’ve been able to sit down in a restaurant in Michigan. I’m getting hungry for a good, sit-down meal at one of my favorite restaurants.
Not only did God create us with a physical appetite, but He gave us a spiritual appetite. There is something in each of us that can only be filled with God. Many try to fill it with so many other things of this life: money, fame, success, sports, hobbies, even family. But only God can fill it. When we fill it with God, we will be blessed.
Jesus said, “Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness…” (Matthew 5:6).
Did you know that this applies to your family. Your family will be blessed if you truly hunger and thirst after God and His righteousness.
This Sunday, May 31, I continue a sermon series called Bless This Home from Jesus’ Beatitudes (Matthew 5:3-12). This week I will talk about “God Blesses the Hungry.”
You will discover what it means to hunger for God and how your family can be blessed beyond your imagination. Learn how to nurture a hunger and thirst for God. Be challenged to do the right thing and seek God’s priorities for your family.
Join me this Sunday morning on Facebook Live or YouTube Live. In addition, we will have a Drive-in service in our parking at 6:00 p.m. I will continue to share some of the things we do to spoil our appetite for God.
Join me this Sunday @ 9:00 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. online or 6:00 p.m. in our parking lot.
