Many know Lulu Roman as the most popular female cast member of the long-running hit television series, “Hee Haw”.

Others know her as a celebrated singer and songwriter, making successful records for over 25 years.

Few know that she was born with a thyroid dysfunction in a home for unwed mothers and placed in an orphanage. Her search for happiness and acceptance, which almost led her to personal destruction, instead led her to God.

In 1999, LuLu was inducted into the Country Gospel Music Hall of Fame. In 2002, her 16th album “LuLu Inspired” was nominated for a Dove Award.

In addition to “Hee Haw”, LuLu has appeared on such television programs as “The Love Boat”, “Touched by an Angel”, and Gaither Homecoming Video.
