This Sunday is Father’s Day. It’s always a wonderful family day. We have gifts for all the men and want to honor fatherhood. I will be finishing up on my sermon series, “Home Improvement.” I’ve been highlighting lessons from various families in the Bible. This week I will talk about Job.

Job is best known for his patience in tribulation. However, he is also a role model for fathers. He had ten children and prayed for each of them. This Sunday I will encourage fathers (and mothers) to pray for their children with my sermon “Praying for your Children“. You will learn three things to pray for your children. You can read Job 1:1-5 to prepare your heart for what I’m going to say.

In addition, I will share with you four character qualities that made Job such a great man and three lessons from the life of Job. Sounds like a lot? We’ll be out in time for Father’s Day dinner. it’s going to be a great day.

Join us this Sunday @ 10:30 a.m.
