Faith Baptist Church will host a one-day Prophecy Conference on Sunday, 6. Featured speaker is Mark Conn, Bible Teacher (bio below). Mark will teach about Bible Prophecy in the 10:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. service. A Q & A will follow the evening service.
Mark says about the upcoming event: “I’m looking forward to our time together, especially as the world’s eyes are focused on Syria and the Middle East right now! Lot’s of stuff happening and this is as current as tomorrow’s headlines – literally!”
Mark Conn Bio
Mark is a husband, dad, pastor, professor, author, lecturer, and researcher.
Growing up around churches and preachers, he was determined not to follow in his father’s footsteps and enter the ministry, but instead pursue a career in criminal justice.
God had different plans.
Mark accepted Christ just before he was to enter the United States Air Force Academy and surrendered to God’s calling to full-time ministry soon thereafter.
While in Bible college, Mark met his future wife, Mychere. Married in 1985, Mark and Mychere have two grown sons who are both active in their local church ministries. The Conns have ministered in South Carolina, West Virginia, Missouri, and most recently served as the Lead Pastor of the First Baptist Church in Mount Morris, Michigan. His ministry experiences include serving as an Associate Pastor, Youth Pastor, College Director, Worship Leader, and a Senior Pastor. Mark has taught at the collegiate level at institutions in South Carolina, West Virginia, and Missouri, most recently as a member of the Administrative Staff and Teaching Faculty at one of the nation’s premiere Bible colleges, where he taught Personal Evangelism, Principles of Finance, Principles of Marketing, Information Literacy for Pastors, and Web Design.
One of Mark’s strongest attributes is his ability to speak in a clear and authentic manner. He holds the Scripture in high regard, and strongly believes that its pages are as relevant today as they were when they were penned thousands of years ago. He has conducted international webinars for churches and pastors, is a pastor coach, and is a sought-after prophecy speaker as well as a Southern Gospel vocalist.
In his free time, he enjoys technology, researching esoteric topics, restoring old cars, and his wife thinks he has become something of a coffee snob!
