Radical Generosity: People Power (1 Corinthians 16:10-19)
We can be generous with our money and time. Yet, they are valueless without people. The church's greatest asset is people. Paul concludes his first letter to the church in Corinth by mentioning four people. We can learn some 'people' lessons from them.
1. Timothy: Respect (v. 10-11)
It is not the person who honors the work but the work which honors the person.
2. Apollos: Balance (v. 12-14)
There is a balance between firmness and gentleness, between power and love.
3. Stephanos: Servant Leadership (v. 15-18)
Christian leadership is earned through humble service.
4. Aquilla and Priscilla: Dedication (v. 19)
People with dedication and sacrifice to the local church are not easy to find, but they are a great asset to the Lord's work.
