Success depends on making good decisions.

How do you learn to make good decisions? Make lots of bad decisions.

Jesus share a common principle about wisdom in Luke 7:35 –  “Wisdom is justified of all her children.” In other words, you a decision was wise by the outcome.

This Sunday, August 23, I will continue a new sermon series called How to be a Stronger Christian from Luke 7. A strong Christian has learned how to make wise decisions. We can either learn from experience, or we can learn from the experience of others. This week I will share the thought: “Strength by Wisdom.”

As Jesus shared about the strength of John the Baptist, He actually gave us some principles of wisdom. Two good questions to ask about a decision are:

  1. Does it prove God right?
  2. What is the long term consequence of this decision?

Questions that are important, but do not always lead to wise decisions are:

  1. Do I like it?
  2. What does everybody else think?

I hope you will join me as we learn how to make wise decisions and become a stronger Christian.

We will continue to have church services in our building at 9:00 am or 10:30 am. For more information about our reconnecting guidelines, visit RECONNECT. You can also watch our pre-recorded service with the same message on Facebook Live or YouTube Live on Sunday at 9:00 am or 10:30 am.

Join me this Sunday.
