Every Christmas we give our children socks. Now, that’s not an exciting present but very practical. We also give them money! That’s a present everyone loves to receive.

Have you ever stressed over finding the perfect present for someone? It is sometimes difficult to make that decision. Do I get them something they need or want? Do I give them clothes or toys? Will they really like it? Will they ever wear it? Will they return it to the store the next day? Will they regift it to someone else? Will I see it in next year’s white elephant gift exchange?

I’d like to suggest that there are gifts that never disappoint. Unlike money, when we give and spend these gifts, there is always more left over. These gifts are good for the giver and the receiver.

The chief Christmas gift is the gift of God’s Son. Through Jesus, all the other great gifts are made possible.

This Sunday I conclude my sermon series, The Gifts of Christmas. I will summarize all four gifts: Hope, Love, Joy & Peace. Join me Christmas Eve morning and let’s open some great gifts that keep giving throughout the year.

Join us this Sunday,  @ 10:30 a.m.  Don’t forget, we will not have Sunday School Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve.

Also, plan to attend one of our Christmas Eve services: Saturday @ 6pm or Sunday 4 & 6pm. Carols, Candles & Cookies. Make it a great family tradition.
