Opportunities to Serve

We have several opportunities of service and fellowship for adults at Faith Baptist Church.

FAITH Groups – In addition to Sunday School at 9:30 a.m., we have groups who gather throughout the week. You can find out more about our current groups at this link: FAITH Groups.

FAITHful Friends – Our senior ministry (50+ years) meets from time to time throughout the year for luncheons, fellowship and even a trip.

Hospitality – We try to love people like God loves them so we try to welcome everyone.  We have a Welcome & Information Center, use nametags, and involve ushers and greeters to welcome members and guests.

Connection Cafe is a time of fellowship around a cup of coffee during Sunday School and before Sunday service.
Occasionally we meet for Church Dinners at special times in the year.

We have a Bus Ministry that provides transportation to church services and is maintained and driven for our various ministries.

Missions – We love people all around the world.  Many people make financial commitments to missions work around the world through Faith Promise Missions.

Bible Publishing is a group who puts together portions of God’s Word to distribute around the world.  We receive supplies from Bearing Precious Seed ministry in southern Ohio and produce about 40,000 Scriptures each year.
A group called Knit, Crochet and Pray meets twice a month to make hand-made items to benefit various missions needs.

Music – Many people are involved in our music ministry to help bring the congregation into a spirit to receive God’s Word: singers, instrumentalists, sound technicians, and many others. Also, guest musicians and singers are invited to our church services to uplift us with their ministry.  We record a portion of the Sunday morning sermon to broadcast on WLEN (103.9 FM) every Sunday at 9:15 AM for our Radio Ministry.

Prayer – A Prayer Chain is available to link up more than 20 families in prayer 24 hours a day for the emergency needs of people through phone calls and email.

Scholarship Fund – The Scholarship Fund is a program to provide students with financial assistance to further their education at Christian colleges.  The Fund is entirely supported through gift-giving.  Application deadline is mid-late March, with award announcements made in mid-late April.

Love Lenawee – Showing the Love of Jesus in practical ways in our county. Currently we have adopted Prairie Elementary School. People volunteer at school events and help with parties. Other opportunities have been back to school teacher gifts, collect winter clothing, and bag popcorn.
